The Georgia Tech Dance Association (GTDA) was formed in 1999 to give students at Georgia Tech and people in the Atlanta Community a place to do what they love most – dance! We offer a wonderful environment of dancing for everyone on our new 5,000 sq ft floor in the heart of midtown Atlanta and walking distance to all students on campus.
We offer a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment for people who are only interested in dancing, good music, and having a good time!
We are an all ages facility, so even if you’re 15 or 65, you will enjoy yourself at our events.
We are non-profit, so we only ask to cover our costs, this keeps costs low for you. We understand that, as a student especially, you may not have the money to see a live band every month. We take pocket books into consideration!
Our classes and workshops are also planned along this premise. We promise to bring quality instructors from across the nation, but keep the costs to the bare minimum.
GTDA could not function without the help of volunteers. People from within Georgia Tech and in the Atlanta Community are those who really keep us going. Whether you just show support by coming to the dances, or help us by volunteering, every one of you is appreciated and we are very grateful.
