About Us

Who is GTDA?

The Georgia Tech Dance Association (GTDA) is a student-run organization. Our members, volunteers, and officers draw from the Tech community.

Formed in 1999, GTDA gives students, the Atlanta community, and many others a place to swing dance! Our spacious dance floors are conveniently located in Midtown, within walking distance for all on-campus Georgia Tech students.

We hope to see you at our next monthly dance and weekly lessons! For more places outside Georgia Tech to practice swing dancing, check out More Events.

What GTDA offers:

Dancing, good music, and having a good time!
– We offer a smoke-free, alcohol-free environment.
– We are an all-ages facility, so even if you’re 15 or over 65, you will enjoy yourself at our events.
– We keep admission low, especially for students!
– GTDA cannot function without volunteers. Thank you for supporting us, whether you attend our dances or help us run them.
